This just in: Mojang has decided to participate in the Humble Indie Bundle project to raise funds for a charity of your choice. They're going to stream Live all this weekend as they create games from scratch. It's a 60 hour long marathon, and it's bound to be an exciting look into how games are made at the studio that produced Minecraft.
How it works: You make a donation of any amount you choose, and then choose how to divide it between the four charities available, and as soon as the games are finished you'll get access to all of them.

I think this is a great way to raise awareness for charities, especially for people who are so good at what they do, they can attract attention simply by doing a coding and design marathon. Check out the art and the coding process and if you can afford it make a small donation. Any amount is allowed :)
