Just slowly making my way towards level 85 on my Holy Priest in World of Warcraft. Healing is a lot more enjoyable for me, since first of all you don't wait around on queues, and then you generally have more stuff to do, in a dungeon. You have to make sure everyone stays alive, bubble the tank, heal everyone else, think about wether the boss might stun you next so you can cast some HoTs, it's a lot more exciting than just casting spells in a rotation as a DPS, or even tanking, at least for me.
Throne of the Tides is one of the more annoying dungeons though, since around levels 80-82 you're stick with it and Blackrock Depths, since the other dungeons require an iLvl minimum of your gear. So if you're like me and can't stand questing with anything else than a paladin or a DK, you'll have to stick with those two, until you get the item drops. Which might take a good 20 runs.
If you have experience with RPGs tell me which classes/roles you prefer.
I wish I had the patients for computer games.
ReplyDeleteI'm so locked in with the 3DS and the Playstation.
Even though I don't play wow anymore it's great fun to watch videos from it! :D
ReplyDeleteWhen I played I started out as a night elf warrior but later changed to a human warlock through bc, wrath and the first few months of cata.
That game looks great! Why don't you like to quest as anything but a paladin or a DK? are they the best?
ReplyDeleteCuz its easier to kill enemies with them. You hardly lose any health, and you just go from one mob to the other. With a caster you sometimes have to stop for mana, you take harder hits etc.
Deletei always enjoyed playing support and healers in games
ReplyDeleteThe levels are up to 85 now? Man, it's been a long time since I played WoW...
ReplyDeleteI LOVED wow but after WOTLK me and my friends all quit the game changed for the worse. Minimum level raid gear (Tier 4) was considered high end and then tier 5 was incredible then players with Tier 6 were just extremely elite and maybe one or two guilds had t6 gear thats it. Now a days its not uncommon for average players to have mega high end gear, it makes the game goalless. Anyway what kind of computer do you play on?! lol
ReplyDeleteHehe, I agree, it's easy these days to get LFR gear especially. Then you go from there. I play on an MSI laptop that I do everything else on. Hence Fraps doesn't work that good and the video quality is not quite over 9000.
DeleteLooking for Raid gear is like 390 iLVL and the top tier gear right now is like 405 or something. So anyone can queue in LFR and get 390 within a couple weeks.
DeleteI miss WoW...
ReplyDeleteDruid/healer/support class all the way. It's good to be needed.
